Wilton Manors signature event, the Wilton Manors Stonewall Festival, is held every year in June. This year’s event will feature a parade and street festival. This community-wide event draws a diverse crowd of approximately 20,000 – 30,000 individuals and families each year. The parade, street vendors, and live performances offer something for everyone and the city is proud to host this celebration.
The festival is held in honor of the Stonewall Riots. Tired of harassment from the New York Police Department, the city’s gay community staged a series of demonstrations on June 28, 1969. Each year, gay communities across the country hold events to honor the riots.
Lining the entire length of Wilton Drive will be vendor booths, food trucks, drink stations and non-profit organizations. There will be several entertainment stages, with the main stage located at Northeast 6th Avenue, providing entertainment throughout the day.
The event is made possible by our many Sponsors, vendors and parade participants.
Come and have a great time in celebrating our pride!
